🖤Here he is…… “Buzz the Punk Budgie”  The next of my new Lino prints, the first piece of work EVER to be signed with my actual human name, Anthony McEwan.. make of that what you will… for me it makes sense.

Budgies, outside of being a working class childhood staple, represent balance & harmony, positive growth, faithfulness & loyalty and new love.

Buzz is beautifully hand printed with a 3 colour sprayed initial layer, overlaid with a hand printed Lino plate layer. Finished off with a hand painted 24 carat gold powder perch. Offff….

Buzzcock was in fact the pet of Pete Shelley’s granny and went to every Buzzcocks gig from 76-81 before his tragic ending in late 1981 when his Trill was spiked during the bands final UK tour. This portrait is to commemorate a true legend of the Punk scene, Buzzcock The Budgie gone but never forgotten🙏🏻🦜
